World of Tents is currently looking for a competent International Logistics Coordinator to reinforce the Alpinter team.

Direct, manage, coordinate and monitor logistic movements, warehouse operations, transportation arrangements and last-mile deliveries to customers worldwide. In this key function, you provide vital support to our supply chain, key element in our successful execution of just-in-time deliveries to people in need.

• Coordinate the planning of the international logistics teams after defining priorities
• Planning and Supervision of shipments as per customers requirements.
• Oversight on Order Tracking activities, ensuring timely deliveries and continuous information flow to all stakeholders
• Organisation of shipping documentation process.
  Scheduling of goods inspection services and transport coordination
• Coordination of transport-provider selection process based on best value for money principle
• Research for alternative shipping routes to improve efficiency, sustainability and reliability
• Transport sub-contractor performance monitoring and management
• Oversight on the stock management process in internal and external warehouses
• Coordination of customs and VAT-related processes for incoming and outgoing shipments (intra-EU and outside of EU)
• Maintenance of logistics KPI’s including performance improvements and cost reduction
• Provide company’s senior management with opportunities for improvements in respect to any logistics activities
• Mitigate risks related to multimodal shipments and goods storage in remote areas

• Perfect English knowledge. French and/or Dutch is also required
• 5+ years of work experience as logistics or supply chain officer in a globally oriented environment
• Experience with international customs formalities and Incoterms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, highly organized with eye for detail
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines. High flexibility and stress resistant.
• ERP knowledge is a plus.
