World of Tents, located in Ronse, has a passion for developing and producing tents and sheltering for an international client base. Thanks to years of presence and expertise, WOT reaches various target markets through its established brands (Alpino, Alpinter & Autentic).

Alpinter provides solutions for global disaster relief for over 30 years whilst Alpino supports scouting and youth organisations as well as campers/travelers with top quality tents. The latest brand creation, Autentic is active within the growing glamping and lifestyle market. Craftsmanship, passion for the product and customer focus are central driving factors throughout the entire organisation of World of Tents.

Within the context of our future expansion, World of Tents is currently looking for a competent KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER for their AUTENTIC team (m/f/x):

Your Position

  • Within the dynamic AUTENTIC Team you will be the main day to day liaison with existing and new key customers in Europe and beyond.
  • The key account manager will be a motivated team player who provides all commercial and operational support to our customers during the entire offering, ordering and delivery process and coordinates after-sales service and payment follow-up.
  • In your work you cooperate closely with customers and ensure to build/maintain excellent relationships with our customers.
  • Thanks to these relationships combined with your know-how and analytical sense you can detect the customer’s needs and convert these into tailormade solutions resulting in high customer satisfaction and positive results for the company.
  • As the key focal point for our customers, all commercial, operational and logistical aspects of offers and orders are managed through a turnkey approach, meaning that the key account manager follows these up from A-Z.
  • You will work amongst a team of skilled and experienced colleagues but with a substantial degree of own responsibility and a direct reporting line to the Director of AUTENTIC.

Your Profile

  • You have obtained a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree and a first work experience of at least 3 years in an international account management environment. A background of having worked in the outdoor/lifestyle sector is a plus.
  • You are a results-driven team player who relies on thorough analysis before acting; combined with a pro-active and hands-on mentality. Real customer focus and outstanding commercial skills are cornerstones for this profile.
  • The ideal candidate has experience in price negotiations and understands the functionalities of commercial targets, budgets and profitability of the projects managed.
  • You will be working from our Ronse Headquarter but you are able to travel on occasional basis for customer’s visits, attendance of events.
  • Communication with your customers and team colleagues is paramount to be successful and therefore language skills and open mindedness are very important elements: As a minimum we expect you to be fluent in English, French or Dutch and that you are able to express yourself in any professional context, spoken or in writing. Any additional language skill is an extra benefit.
