With years of expertise, we cater to diverse markets across the globe, delivering top-tier products to humanitarian organizations, governments, and NGOs.

To create world class products and a premium product experience, we are looking for a PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER who will work with a focus on our Alpinter entity, from our HQ in Ronse.

• Drive innovation: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance our products and push the boundaries of design and functionality. This while ensuring the practical and economic feasibility of product development and improvement across all stages of the product lifecycle.
• Create impactful designs: Turn market needs into technical specifications and conceptual designs for tents, frames, field hospitals, base of operations, humanitarian shelters and other relief items,…
• Lead from concept to reality: Develop prototypes, 3D models, and technical documentation that bring our ideas to life.
• Collaborate globally: Work with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure every product meets our high standards for quality and performance.
• Test and improve: Design and conduct testing to ensure our products stand up to real-world conditions.
• Be a technical expert: Provide technical guidance and expertise throughout the product lifecycle and to external partners.

We are on the hunt for a Product Design Engineer with the right skills and positive mindset… Here’s what will make you shine in this role:

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong skills in SketchUp, InDesign, and 3D design tools.
• You are an organizer who can also pivot quickly when things change (because they will!).
• You have a general good material knowledge.
• A proactive, hands-on attitude and the ability to work independently.
• You know how to connect with everyone—from suppliers to team members—adjusting your communication style as needed.
• You’re fluent in English and either Dutch or French, with bonus points for any additional languages.
• A background in textile engineering? Even better!
