World of Tents, located in Ronse, has a passion for developing and producing tents and sheltering for an international client base. Thanks to years of presence and expertise, WOT reaches various target markets through its established brands (Alpino, Alpinter & Autentic).

Alpinter provides solutions for global disaster relief for over 30 years whilst Alpino supports scouting and youth organisations as well as campers/travelers with top quality tents. The latest brand creation, Autentic is active within the growing glamping and lifestyle market. Craftsmanship, passion for the product and customer focus are central driving factors throughout the entire organisation of World of Tents.

Within the context of our future expansion, World of Tents is currently looking for a competent SALES MANAGER for their AUTENTIC team (m/f/x):

Your Position

  • The Sales Manager is responsible for the further expansion of the Autentic-brand by reinforcing commercial activities with current clients/prospects and identifying new customers and outlets in the B2B segment via various channels. In this way, you develop and extend the worldwide customer base for the current and future product portfolio developed by the company.
  • You negotiate and follow-up on sales prices within the company strategy and develop compelling offers and client driven solutions that generate sustainable revenue in this growing global market.
  • By staying up to date with new market-trends, you know how to respond efficiently to business opportunities. The commercial actions developed by the Sales Manager will generate measurable growth in revenue and brand awareness for Autentic.
  • On a yearly basis, the Sales Manager develops a forecast with regards to sales volume, margins and market share for existing and new customers.
  • You will work within a team of skilled and experienced colleagues but with a substantial degree of own responsibility and a direct reporting line to the Director of Autentic.

Your Profile

  • You have obtained a Bachelor’s degree and gained work experience of minimum 3 years in a commercial function within a B2B-context. A background in fashion, lifestyle or outdoor furnishings is a plus. Interest in or passion for textile related products and materials will help you to be sharply focused.
  • You are a results-driven team player who relies on thorough analyses before acting, combined with a pro-active hands-on mentality. Genuine customer focus and outstanding commercial skills are cornerstones for this profile.
  • The ideal candidate has experience in commercial negotiations and understands the functionalities of commercial targets, budgets and profitabity of customer transactions.
  • Excellent personal skills will enable you to develop strong partnerships both externally and internally.
  • You are willing to travel abroad to visit prospects and customers, as well as fairs and other commercial events.
  • As language skills are paramount for internal and external communications, we expect that you communicate fluently in Dutch, English & French, both spoken and in writing.
